A new pipeline is set to carry fracked gas under Brownsville, Bed-Stuy, Bushwick, Williamsburg, and Greenpoint, ending at a National Grid Depot on Newton Creek. Opponents are calling to end the construction immediately, concerned for the safety of their communities and the nearly 200 million price tag for ratepayers.
