I am a Journalism and Cinema Studies undergraduate student at New York University, where I interact with the written word and multimedia projects on a daily basis.
During my time at NYU, I have gained reporting experience as a Features staff writer at my university newspaper and professional experience as a classroom tutor for America Reads, a program where I worked closely with children in an educational setting.
My love for journalism and film manifests itself best in video profiles and documentary projects. I enjoy human interest stories, research-heavy exposés and political activism about government and society at large. I’m inspired by the likes of Brandon Stanton, John Oliver and Sarah Silverman who, in their own ways, report and reveal the human condition in ways I strive to in all my work.
